nightclub feel the rhythm

Please read these rules.

—The top five entrants will qualify for each round of competition plus a "wild card" for each night of qualifying. The final round will consist of 12 finalists.
—Entrants must sign up for the competition prior to the round. No one will be allowed to sign up once the round begins.
—If you fail to qualify during the first round, you may attempt to qualify on the next round.
—Employees of Danger Entertainment, and employees of venues where Danger Entertainment hosts karaoke are prohibited from entering into the competition.
—AK Rockstar karaoke championship will consist of contestants who win during the qualifying rounds. Finalists will compete for the championship on September 19th, 2021 at 8PM.
—Contest open to amateurs only. Amateur defined by having earned less than $500 in the previous 12 months as a singer or musician.
—Current active Karaoke hosts are not eligible to enter competition.
—Danger Entertainment and the Carousel Lounge reserve the right to amend the rules as necessary.
—You must select a song from our list. We make every effort to secure your song, but you may not bring your own song files to use.
—You must remain on the stage while performing. If not, microphone feedback can be a problem.
—All judges' decisions are FINAL. You may not challenge the result.
—No musical instruments or props of any kind are allowed.
—Duos are permitted to compete; however if they win the grand prize, they will share their prize.
—The audience response portion of the scoring will be measured by a hand-held dB meter.
—Remember, this is a meant to be a fun competition. Have fun!
